Verdict
Minster Glory is no spring chicken but he's in-form and with Mick Easterby taking full advantage of a lenient hurdles mark, we believe that Gino Carenza will be capable of justifying the long trip South. Richie McGrath gave his supporters one or two heartstopping moments through easing down heavily close home at Leicester but in reality, the horse won very easily indeed. The John Jenkins team are in form and they landed a double on Wednesday afternoon. Angels Venture won impressively under this conditional over course and distance in October and if the ground stays fast, he looks the one most likely to lower Minster Glory's colours. Master T was hampered at a vital stage in his last outing at Cheltenham and would have finished nearer than his finishing position suggests. Brooksie should have stripped fitter for a recent reappearance after a long absence. Having considered the alternatives, we believe that Minster Glory should be capable of landing the finale.
