Verdict

Elvira Delight didn't appear to last home over 1m2f at Nottingham on her latest start and it's no surprise to see her dropped back to a mile here. Empress Charlotte steps up in distance after her latest second at Kempton but is starting to look exposed now while Duquesa probably needs some help from the handicapper if she's to get her head back in front. BLUE MAISEY should go close, however, off the same mark as when runner-up to Uncle Dermot over C&D eight days ago. She meets third Whodathought on identical terms so should uphold that form and Peter Makin's lightly-raced filly is taken to get off the mark today.
