Verdict
Open Wide won his maiden here last year and showed the benefit of an earlier reappearance when third at Haydock 10 days ago. Monteamiata has gone close twice since beaten half-a-length by Fethiye Boy here last month. Desert Sport has won twice over the minimum trip and is only 4lb higher than when beating two rivals at Bath but BLITZ (NAP) may be the one to be on. Despite a modest draw, she was prominent for a long way in a much better race than this at Sandown last time and has been dropped a couple of pounds since. Awesome Allan should be approaching peak fitness and is another to consider.
