With all bar one seeing the racecourse for the first time, this is impossible to fathom, so Hawk Eyed Lady is basically a pin job, with Superduper, No Page and Silca Destination others to note. At least we know that Jamie Osborne's juveniles are always well tuned up, and that augurs well for the chance of Hawk Eyed Lady, a half-sister to prolific winner Whitbarrow. Entered for the Lowther Stakes at York, she is taken to show what she can do first time. Richard Hannon saddles three runners including the Ryan Moore-ridden Kili Links, and Superduper, the mount of Richard Hughes. The latter's family traces back to Petong so there should be plenty of speed in her make-up. No Page does not make as much appeal on breeding, but is another that is sure to have been well prepared, and of the remainder, Silca Destination has the edge in experience, having finished fifth here on her debut. She is the first foal of the stable's Mill Reef winner Golden Silca and should lose her maiden tag sooner rather than later. On this occasion though, we plump for Hawk Eyed Lady.
