        Verdict

        Playing to large stakes on a twenty-runner, two-year-old maiden at Windsor on a Monday evening is always going to be a dangerous game and this really is a race for the brave only. However, Pat Eddery rides the course better than anybody and the former champion can utilise his experience to guide home the well-bred Sion Hill. The Desert Prince colt does have a low draw to overcome but if he lives up to his home reputation he should have the necessary toe to gain a prominent position early. Market moves for Go Bananas, Go Solo and Swift Sailing will also be interesting, while support for Ermine Grey, whose stable had welcome winner at Haydock last week, will be interesting for each way backers. But Sion Hill may be the best option for win only purposes - even though the likelihood of a skinny price is a little off-putting for a horse drawn in stall one.
