Verdict
Not a strong race in all probability and a chance is given to Voyager to show the benefit of his initial outing. The TEAMtalk selection was easy to back on his Goodwood debut last month and ran accordingly as John Dunlop's charge was never nearer than mid-division. However, this is a well-bred colt being a full brother to stablemate and Sprint Cup hero Invincible Spirit amongst others and he can surely make an impact at this level. Lago d'Orta made an encouraging debut when a staying-on third in a soft ground Lingfield maiden but may well have been flattered and has to show that he is as effective on the forecast good to firm going. Of the others, Lady Franpalm showed some ability on her recent bow and is entitled to improve while a market move for newcomer Cormorant Wharf could prove significant with his yard emerging from the doldrums.
