Verdict

SPOOF made a promising start in what was probably a decent maiden at Newbury last month. He has the plum draw here and, open to improvement, can get the better of the more-exposed Declarationoflove and The Love Doctor, who look closely matched on what they’ve shown so far. Haven's View and the £52,000 Camacho colt Starboy look the pick of the remainder, though the draw hasn’t been kind to the latter.
