In depth

Verdict

Just six runners for this classified event but all can be given some sort of a chance. Habanero has been knocking on the door on his last two runs and can return to winning ways, Golden Fury and Prime Number are put forward as the main dangers. Richard Hannon's four-year-old has come up against two progressive horses in Landucci and Musicanna in two recent handicaps. They are all closely matched on official ratings but Habanero does appear to have the best recent form and looks the best option. Prime Number disappointed on soft ground last time but had previously landed a decent enough race at Goodwood on similar ground to today's and should be involved in the finish. However Golden Fury looks the main threat to the selection having chased home All That And More in a competitive Epsom handicap last time. As we said the other three runners can also be given a squeak on the pick of their form, however Habanero is at the top of his game at present and so gets our vote.
