La Mottie is open to plenty of improvement and should go close despite top-weight, however we will side with Ms Rainbow Runner, with Shinko also expected to be in the shake up. Bryan Meehan's filly has had three runs to qualify for handicaps and looks on a fair mark after showing promise on each occasion. The three pound claimer brings her weight down to just eight stone one giving her every chance here. La Mottie won her maiden at Nottingham in good style and as it was only her second outing there should be plenty more to come. Shinko chased home Lady Cree last month and has got in here on a very fair mark, she could reward each-way support. Recent winner Gillipops could prove best of the remainder, but Ms Rainbow Runner looks the pick of the weights this evening and just edges the decision.
