Verdict

A handicap for inexperienced amateur riders would not be the ideal ‘getting-out’ stakes with the draw also a factor to take into consideration in this big field. Plucky Dip seems to go well for a jockey with limited experience, however, though recent wins have come over 7f. Tom Midgley has already shown himself to be a competent pilot so Wolverhampton third Coastal Drive is worth a second look. Veteran Time Medicean will probably be thereabouts and John Joiner would have each-way claims again but DEEDS NOT WORDS usually keep better company than this and is a course and distance winner who has his ground again today.
