    Verdict

    Strike Me A Pose was no match for an odds-on favourite at Leicester on debut and the third has been well beaten since. Shrara hasn’t raced since successful over 6f at Chepstow more than a year ago and has to give 2lb to the gelding ORIENTAL SPIRIT, who probably came up against a couple of above-average three-year-olds on his reappearance at Salisbury. He led for a long way that day so dropping back to 5f shouldn’t be a problem and recent rain is in his favour.
