Verdict
Five-year-olds have won the last three renewals and Safira Menina has been steadily coming to hand since the turn of the year. Milly Naseb again takes off 7lb and Martin Smith’s mare shouldn't be far away again. Captain Peacock made a winning reappearance last season but is now 18lb higher and this looks on the short side for the top weight nowadays. BLUFF CRAG has only won over a mile so far but was staying on over 1m2f at Chelmsford last time so it may be worth risking that he can last home over another couple of furlongs.
