In depth
Verdict
A race with plenty of imponderables about the ability of some to act on the ground. Dryden House comes here in good heart at the moment and should make a bold bid from top weight. The Jarvis team have sent out a couple of winners of late and if she handles the ground, she has to have a chance. Framework has solid form but this was on a faster surface. As Danehill progeny are not necessarily at their best on soft, she is passed over today. Fruit of Glory has handled the surface and finished second to Rapscallion in a titanic struggle at Ascot on heavy. Any reproduction of that performance would be good enough to land this contest. Googoogosh makes her seasonal reappearance. Her yard are starting to show signs of a return to form but she is probably best watched today.
