Redcar winner Freight Train would prefer a faster surface and the same applies to Berland, who scored at Leicester in June. Mystery Code may do better back over today's trip but Majrooh was well beaten last time raised 6lb for winning at Newmarket earlier. THAMES KNIGHT (NAP) failed to land a hat-trick when running out of steam in the closing stages over 1m3f at Goodwood but recorded a double over 1m2f before that and the Tregoning charge should go close with Louis Steward's allowance further helping his cause.
