In depth

Verdict

Nautical Mile and Doctor Jazz may well improve for today’s longer trip having both made modest debut efforts over a mile. But the same can be said of DESERT PATH, who was doing his best work at the finish over a mile at Kempton in October and has been gelded during the interim. Amanda Perrett’s charge gets a speculative vote on his return. Of the newcomers, White Turf is related to three winners including stablemate and Grade 1 winner Blond Me and is preferred to the likes of Arabian Fairytale and Napoleonica.
