Verdict

A tough finale in which the consistent Kyrie Eleison gets the nod ahead of Castlebury and handicap debutante De Facto. The selection won on his seasonal reappearance at Lingfield and has hit the frame on three runs since. His mark on the turf is lower as a consequence of him being winless in seven on grass but his best runs have been on this sort of ground and he can oblige today. De Facto doesn't look harshly treated for his handicap debut but he still needs to improve on what we have seen and any gamble starting may be founded in potential rather than proven ability. Cossask Prince has run poorly in two starts this term, whilst Broughton's Flight should improve for a recent run but may still need another run or two before he can win. Latin Scholar represents a trainer who can do little wrong at present, whilst Tara's Garden and Dusk have been performing with credit in similar races recently and shouldn't be far away. An open affair, where bottom weight Striving must be feared with a first-time visor on, however it is Kyrie Elesion who can score.
