Verdict
Zippi Jazzman showed plenty of promise on softish ground on his debut over course and distance last month and has to be respected, especially on a faster surface today, but Ralph Beckett's colt may not represent much in the way of value and preference is for Imperial Mint, with Art Sale rated the pick of the remainder. The selection also made a decent start to his career when a creditable third under testing conditions at Thirsk over six furlongs and should do better dropping back to the minimum trip today. Mark Wallace's Valhillen clearly has ability judged by two starts on the all-weather but he has yet to prove his ability on turf so may be best watched. Hit The Roof, trained by the in-form Richard Hannon, makes some appeal on his debut as does the William Haggas-trained Wise Son. Gary Moore's Art Sale looks to be going the right way and has to be considered but the vote goes to Imperial Mint.
