Verdict
It will be interesting to see how the market shapes up for some of the newcomers here including Richard Hannon's High Plains and Henry Candy's Aye Aye Digby but this is likely to go to one of those with racing experience, with the vote going to Palm Court. The selection stepped up the form of his debut effort when a creditable fourth over course and distance last time and, with the possibility of further improvement to come, he looks the one they all have to beat. Brian Meehan's Lady Aquitaine ran better at Kempton last month and has to be respected back on turf today, while Caradoc Place should have learned from his debut effort but needs to improve to trouble the judge. Kaldoun Kingdom only beat two home on his Kempton debut but Ed Dunlop's two-year-olds normally improve from their first outing so there should be more to come from him. Palm Court is the clear form pick though and he gets the vote.
