Native Daisy and Ruby Dante both have winning form over hurdles and have to be respected but may struggle under their penalties to give weight away to Avoine who gets the vote. The selection, a winning point-to-pointer, made a winning start to her rules career when landing a Uttoxeter bumper at the beginning of the month and she looks worth chancing on her first start over hurdles racing over a trip that should suit. Haydon Lady has shown ability in points but would need to step up considerably on the form of her recent rules debut to trouble the judge. Rose N Alice, a winning chaser in Ireland, could be of interest on her first start for Evan Williams although more solid claims are probably held by Native Daisy. John O'Shea's mare is little better than plating class though and Ruby Dante is likely to find this tougher than the race that she won at Uttoxeter. That may not be the case for Avoine though and she is preferred.
