In depth
Verdict
Mr Tim was good value for his win over course and distance last month but that was on soft ground and, with the going quicker today and a penalty to carry, he looks best left out of calculations with preference for Nayodabayo who gets the vote ahead of Check Up. The last mentioned has ability but remains a maiden and may have to settle for minor honours again so looks best watched. A Double Ewe Bee has ability and has to be respected in this grade. She makes more appeal than Double Mystery, who has shown little sign of encouragement of late, and Lik Wood Power who has been on the downgrade for some time. The vote then goes to Nayodabayo who may not be as good as he once was but should still have too much ability for his rivals today.
