Verdict
Jolly Boy, Buffalo Bill and Touch of Fate appear to hold the key to this contest with Jolly Boy taken to maintain his winning run. Buffalo Bill won at Warwick last season and appears to hold a leading chance here. He is well treated and may well have played part in his latest contest but for falling at the ninth. A winner at Plumpton two outings ago, Touch of Fate has been strongly touted to make a winning debut over fences. He was beaten into second by Thedreamsstillalive on his latest start but is an interesting contender here. Jolly Boy completed a four-timer when scoring at Plumpton recently, and did so with some authority. He may still be a step or two ahead of the handicapper and the stable is hot. Jolly Boy gets the vote.
