Verdict
This is one the best two-year-old events so far this season and it can fall to Blue Dakota, with Sea Hunter and Speed Of Sound set to battle for the place money. The reputation of Jeremy Noseda's's colt preceded him to the racecourse and he went off odds on when easily disposed of subsequent winner Turnkey. He followed up here last week, winning as he liked, he can take this before taking a crack at the Royal meeting. Sea Hunter had shown plenty of promise on his Nottingham debut before landing a small event at Hamilton. He needs to step up on that effort to land this valuable prize, but he does have bags of scope. Speed Of Sound is a half-sister to the smart Speed Cop and she ran well enough on her debut to suggest she can win a decent prize. Beaver Patrol ran well behind Dance Night at Chester and could prove best of the others. However Blue Dakota looks to have a touch of class and is fully expected to land the spoils.
