In depth

Verdict

The winners have been flowing for the Tim Easterby yard this month and MAC AILEY is a rare runner here for the Great Habton maestro. He’s only managed one career victory to date but looked as though he was ready to strike again when second in a higher grade at Doncaster last Saturday. Nicola Currie takes over the reins from an apprentice on Fivehundredmiles and he can be forgiven his latest run at Lingfield. Couldn't Could She is back on a winning mark and has run a couple of fair races this term in this grade and Dyagilev was biting off more than he could chew last time at Sandown. Derek Le Grand may be best of the rest in first-time cheekpieces.
