Bella Ophelia completed a hat-trick at Southwell but disappointed when attempting a four-timer there and was only third to today's rival Wicked Wench from today's mark. LUPO D'ORO is still a maiden after a dozen starts but looks well enough handicapped to finally get off the mark. His close second to Pearl Secret at York in October was a good effort and his recent runs have been on ground much softer than he would prefer. He gets the vote though Judas Jo, who has competed in Sweden and France in two of her last three starts and in a Listed contest at Newmarket in the other, could well be a blot on the handicap. Signifer was conceding Bubbly Ballerina 7lb when not far behind her at Chester in September, though both still look too high in the weights, while the lightly-raced and promising O'Gorman could just need this after an absence since August.
