        Verdict

        Roger Varian’s stable has hit form with a vengeance and REVOLUTIONISE (NAP) was backed off the boards on his handicap debut at Lingfield. In the end, he found one too good having been a shade keen in the early stages but there will be plenty more to come as he learns to settle over this trip and he’s only been raised 3lb. Devils Roc ran well at Goodwood after winning at Bath but will have stamina to prove stepping up in distance. Having looked progressive earlier, Spirit Of May disappointed at Goodwood but Pink Flamingo continues to run well despite a rising mark. Mykindofsunshine looks the pick of the remainder.
