Albert Finney has won at Wolverhampton and Lingfield this year and was second to Korcho over course and distance in April when only beaten half-a-length. There are handicapped to dead-heat today but neither are exactly unexposed. Baryshnikov, Guandi and Entertaining all need to bounce back from modest efforts last time and Renegade Master may be too high in the weights now. Eardley Road could appreciate the step up in distance but ALNADIR has the potential to be better than these. He beat a couple of subsequent winners at Nottingham on his final start last year and the second further franked the form when placed in last week’s King Edward VII Stakes at Royal Ascot.
