Verdict

There is not a lot of form for backers to go on in this two-year-old seller and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Michael Bell's MISS WHIPPY, who ran well when a close fourth in a better seller than this at Newmarket on her debut, and she is taken to open her account with the main dangers rated as Dontbugthebunny and Pollan Bay. Sylvester Kirk's gelding was well held on his debut when only beating one home in an auction maiden at Salisbury but that was a much better race than this and he has to be respected being dropped in grade. Radsky was similarly well held in a decent Newbury maiden and is another that comes into consideration dropped into a seller. Bill Turner's runners in this grade always warrant respect but it is hard to make a case for either Press To Reset or Drews Lane and of more interest may be Dontbugthebunny. George Baker's filly was not disgraced in a Ripon maiden on her first start and she has to be respected in a grade that the trainer does well in but Miss Whippy has the best form on offer and she looks the one they all have to beat.
