Verdict

Clive Cox enjoys a solid record with runners here and GREY GALLEON is expected to go close after his promising fourth over course and distance earlier this month when clearly in need of the experience. He should prove more streetwise now and is preferred to Sheila's Palace. The latter, an obvious threat in receipt of 8lb including Josephine Gordon's claim, outran her odds when runner-up at Chepstow this month. Newcomers to note, both progeny of Acclamation, are the Haggas-trained Tschierschen, sporting a hood first time up and Money In My Pocket from the Hannon juvenile army.
