      Verdict

Evergate showed promise on his first two starts and didn't go too badly than his last run at the Newmarket July meeting but does face a couple of interesting types. Mr Pocket was nicely supported on debut here this month when a lack of racecourse nous probably accounted for his defeat at the hands of the more experienced Kyllang Rock and he rates a surefire improver with the benefit of the run and track knowledge. COMPANY is just preferred though. Richard Hannon's Pivotal filly was sent off joint-market leader for her Newbury debut but took time to get organised before coming home strongly late on. She'll improve significantly and her sex allowance can prove decisive. Moi Moi Moi shaped nicely on debut and has place claims.
