Verdict
Championship Point probably found the going too testing at The Curragh last time so may be better judged on earlier form when successful at Ascot and Goodwood, form which makes him the selection ahead of Take A Bow and Halicarnassus. The last mentioned is a stablemate of the selection and comes here in good form having landed the Group 3 Rose Of Lancaster Stakes last time, form on which he has every chance but may struggle under the penalty. Winged Cupid is less exposed than most of these after just five career starts and could be of interest, while Queen's Best has a progressive profile but does need to improve again to trouble the judge. David Wachman's Cougar Bay has shown decent form without troubling the judge in Ireland of late and has to be respected but a bigger threat may come from the similarly consistent Take A Bow. Championship Point has solid claims though and he is preferred.
