In depth

Verdict

The three-year-old Bajan Pride has been in good form of late on all surfaces and is taken to resume winning ways, getting the vote ahead of Wavertree Warrior and Matuza. The last mentioned has been running well of late over sprint trips and could be of interest stepping up to a mile but Willie Muir's colt is not certain to stay this far and he may be booked for a place at best. Langford is on a long losing sequence, a tally that is likely to carry on here, while Heroes has not progressed as much as may have been anticipated. St Andrews is capable but is not as good as he once was and of more interest may be Wavertree Warrior, who was not beaten far at Sandown last time. Bajan Pride is in top form at present though and he gets the vote to win again.
