Verdict
Tonight's card ends with a very competitive handicap, Pont Neuf, Anyhow and Absinther are the three against the field, with the last named just edging the decision. The selection travelled supremely well at Brighton last time, and despite having to switch midway through the race, he was soon well in command and went on to score a comfortable victory, a follow up looks on the cards here. Pont Neuf was also successful last time, it was only in a seller here, but she did it in great style and was thought good enough to be bought by the Evans yard after the race. Anyhow has managed to win three races this season and should go close in this contest despite having to shoulder ten stone. Of the others Sir Haydn is worthy of a mention, but Absinther won with plenty in hand last time and can go in again.
