Verdict
Aastral Magic was the shock winner of a Kempton maiden last month and can supplement that victory in our opener at the expense of Highland Cascade and Hallucinate. Richard Hannon's cheap purchase did well from a poor draw in that event coming from behind to lead well inside the final furlong and hold on well. The trainer was suitably impressed and expects more to come. Stable-mate Hallucinate wasn't beaten far behind Indiannie Star on his debut at Lingfield and is entitled to improve for the outing. Highland Cascade made a successful start to her career at Yarmouth beating Active Asset in a driving finish. She was far from disgraced at the same track next time when chasing home the well regarded Satchem, another bold showing is anticipated. Robmantra should improve for his recent Warwick debut, but Aastral Magic has already demonstrated her ability and gets our vote.
