In depth

Verdict

Wokingham eight Punchbowl Flyer has already had a good season but Hyperfocus is much better off at the weights than when three lengths behind him at Haydock and looks the pick of Tim Easterby’s two raiders with Rossa Ryan an eye-catching booking. Capote's Dream looks held on that run but Atalanta's Boy had excuses at Epsom when behind Tinto having won earlier at Goodwood. Top Breeze was a cosy winner last time at Chelmsford but Dazzling Dan may be best over 7f nowadays. Chairmanoftheboard was a winner here last summer and later fifth in the Stewards’ Cup at Goodwood but hasn’t raced since August. One Night Stand has gone up 8lb for winning easily at Nottingham but the second has gone close since at Newmarket. ZIM BABY probably found 5f too sharp at Catterick and Oisin Murphy takes over the reins so Mick Appleby’s tough filly gets the nod despite a further 2lb rise.
