        Verdict

        A desperate affair but a good run from Maykir in the first division would boost the hopes of Sherwood Forrester. Famous Dynasty was a winner at Lingfield last month but is very much an all-weather specialist and has three times here without placing. There is no guarantee that WINTER SNOWDROP will handle conditions but she got off the mark at Yarmouth last time with plenty in hand and a repeat performance would probably suffice.
