In depth

Verdict

Stellite is the pick over Barathea Dreams, Bijou Dan, Fasylitator and Full Victory to name but a few. Stellite was only just denied at Ayr last time, and is much better treated on the all-weather, so Jim Goldie's charge should make a bold bid to land his first victory on a Polytrack surface. Barathea Dreams has won twice at Lingfield in the past so goes on the all-weather, and his recent efforts at Ripon and Sandown have been encouraging enough, so he should go well. Bijou Dan has won two of his last four outings, and finished with a flourish to score over the course-and-distance last time. A slightly higher mark should not hinder his chance too much, and he is on the short-list along with Full Victory who is better than his last of seven at Goodwood indicates. An open end to proceedings can see Stellite run another big race.
