        Verdict

        Recent winning form is in short supply given Simply Sin scored over 7f here back in 2020 and hasn’t raced since. Trepidation has been well beaten since winning at Chelmsford at the start of the year and POPE GREGORY is preferred. The latter has switched yards on the back of better efforts over course and distance and today’s change of headgear may bring about further improvement. Cashel is back on a winning mark and posted a better effort at Southwell last time.
