Verdict
Long journey south for Geojimali may be worth it in this company and he is selected to round off the card on a high note; Weakest Link and Magical Mimi are others that can pose a threat if they run to the best of their form. Magical Mimi defied a long absence when winning on her reappearance and was then far from disgraced in finishing just over two lengths behind the selection here last month. The daughter of Magic Ring has the capability to continue to pay her way at this level and is one to keep on the right side for the time being. Weakest Link is still a maiden and has a little to find on face value. However, he has paid his way in place money and, as he drops in grade again, he is no forlorn hope to snatch one of the place. Even so, Geojimali has far more scope for improvement and he can make the most of a good opportunity before the turf season really starts to kick in with its usual force.
