Verdict
Soba Jones has taken well to the all-weather recently and was a winner over this distance at Southwell two runs ago, in impressive fashion. He subsequently fly-leaped the stalls at the same track last time out and was never able to recover, so that run looks best ignored and he heads here with good credentials. Sir Northerndancer heads the weights and is arguably better at seven furlongs, however remains in good form and is not without a hope. Geronimo has been a difficult horse to win with but came good over course and distance last time when Evolution Baby was back in third. The latter is taken to reverse the form as he remains lightly-raced and is open to further improvement on a course he goes particularly well at.
