Verdict
Maniatis, Double Royal and Distant Cousin look the three to concentrate on in this claimer and the vote is given to Maniatis. The selection was a good second behind Court Of Appeal last time out and with the step up in trip looking sure to suit he will be hard to beat. Double Royal rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Shaaban. However, his best form is over a shorter trip and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Distant Cousin is another worthy of respect but he was behind the selection last time and they are on identical terms here so he needs to improve to score. Of the remainder, Tartiruga is from a yard in form and should be noted in the market, but for the winner we will stick with Maniatis.
