In depth

Verdict

Paul Cole's High Heel Sneakers showed promise on Goodwood debut and has to be respected but there are a couple of interesting newcomers in the line up here with Zaharath Al Bustan marginally preferred to Sunday Smile. The selection hails from the stable of Mick Channon that has done so well with their juveniles this term and this daughter of Gulch takes the eye on pedigree. Howard Johnson introduces a son of Mozart in Beverley Hills, who has to be respected, while Deserted Island may need more time. The form of High Heel Sneakers run when second to Marriage Value at Goodwood is easily the best on offer among those to have raced previously, with Tap My Feet probably the pick of the remainder to have raced before. However, the newcomers are of great interest with Mark Johnston's Sunday Smile, a half-sister to the stable's useful Systematic, another to consider but it is Zaharath Al Bustan who is taken to give Mick Channon another two-year-old winner.
