Verdict
This looks quite competitive but SECRET BIRD should go close with Lulu Stanford claiming a valuable 5lb on the Arcano gelding. She has struck up a useful association with her partner, the combination having landed two wins and two places from their latest four starts together. The selection is back up the weights, which will make life tougher, but gets the vote in light of his recent consistent performances. Cee Jay is still a maiden and has become frustrating but didn't go too badly last time at this venue and could be a player if things fall his way. K'gari Spirit wasn't beaten too far in a higher grade contest last time and is lightly-raced while Pearl Noir has a course and distance win to his name and has a decent draw from which to adopt his preferred trail-blazing tactics.
