        Verdict

        Al Freej popped-up at 25/1 on her reappearance at Lingfield in January but was beaten three lengths here by Zing Wing on her latest start. The latter has failed to figure since, though, and while Finesse ended last year with a victory over 7f she is 4lb higher on her return. Amethyst Dawn can race off the same mark as when scoring over track and trip in October with Robert Tart's allowance taken into account, but a punt is taken on BEAUTY PAGEANT. Her long losing run continues but she's plummeted down the weights as a consequence and, after going close at Lingfield on Wednesday, David Evans' mare looks set to strike soon.
