Verdict
Moayed has been in the form of his life of late but has yet to prove that he is as effective over this trip as over shorter and it may be worth taking on Nick Littmoden's gelding with Helm Bank, who is preferred to Glen Innes. The selection has a long absence to overcome but Gerard Butler has his string in fine fettle at present and this American bred horse, who won the Chesham as a two-year-old, should be ideally suited by the Polytrack; he looks worth chancing under Eddie Ahern. Gay Kelleway's Lygeton Lad can never be ruled out in these events and has to be respected but faces no easy task giving weight away all round, while the nine-year-old Mi Odds has not been at his best this winter. The formerly useful Dandoun gave little sign for optimism on his debut for Chris Dwyer at Lingfield last month and of more interest may be David Loder's Glen Innes, who makes her all-weather debut today but is well treated at the weights. Rae Guest's Tahirah is closely matched with Lygeton Lad on running at Lingfield last time and is another to consider but preference is for Helm Bank, who is taken to make a winning return.
