Verdict
FANTASTIC FRED has been living up to his name just lately and can underline it in red by completing a hat-trick here, while Miss Fritton and Miss Cracklinrosie are others to consider. The selection has won twice here over a furlong shorter, but he should have no problem with this trip, and his latest success was all the more remarkable given how badly he was baulked, so he has probably value for a fair bit more than the official margin. He looks capable of further progress today. Miss Fritton is similarly lightly-raced and remains on the same mark as when winning a Southwell handicap last time. Confidence will be higher now, but she is not certain to get this trip. Miss Cracklinrosie could probably have finished closer last time out but has fitness to prove after a break now and her only run here was not the best, so there are questions to answer regarding the track. Nimmys Special is increasingly looking tripless, while Turn To Dreams is a maiden after 21 starts and it is hard to see her breaking that duck from today's mark. Fantastic Fred can go in again.
