In depth
Verdict
Lilardo is a two mile winner at Southwell but he has also been running well of late over a shorter trip and he looks the one to beat despite top weight. Jezadil ran well in a seller at Newcastle last time when just touched off and he should not be far away. Adalpour was well beaten in a maiden handicap last time but he will appreciate the drop in grade and will not be far away. Direct Descendant should also go well he has been running well over a verity of trips of late and his best form on turf is with cut in the ground so he should go on the surface. Araf is also one to consider having bounced back to form with a win at Brigton last time. The remainder are out of form and will need to improve to win.
