Verdict

Precious Mystery,Our Choice and Darko Karim are three against the field in a competitive opener and the narrow vote is given to Precious Mystery. The selection was a fair second off this mark behind War Owl last time out. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and from a good draw he will be hard to beat. Our Choice rates the main danger on his latest second behind Taxman but all his best form is on a fast surface and it is hard to know how he will cope with the ground here and for that reason he is opposed. Darko Karim is another worthy of respect on his latest second but he found less than expected off the bridle last time and for that reason he is opposed. Bid For Fame is well weighted on his best form but he has looked a shadow of his former self of late and again looks vulnerable off this mark. Of the remainder Jidiya is from a yard in form and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Precious Mystery who at least ran well last time out.
