In depth

Verdict

Dean's Yard has shown enough in two outings to suggest he can land this weak affair, Porters and Bomber Command look to be the obvious dangers. The selection's debut effort was in a decent maiden at Sandown won by In The Fashion. That winner is thought to be Group class so that was a very decent first effort. He disappointed next time at Leicester but that may have been due to the softer conditions and if he handles this artificial surface today he will be hard to beat. Bomber Copmmand has the all-weather experience having put in two solid displays at Lingfield, he should be involved in the finish here. Meanwhile Porters has shown himself to be a decent performer, earning an official rating in the mid-eighties, he is another making his all-weather debut and cannot easily be discounted. The best of the others could be the well exposed Luna Landing, but Dean's Yard has plenty of scope for improvement and gets our vote.
