Verdict
El Capitan gets the tentative vote in a tricky race for punters to call with Charlton and Flor Y Nata put forward as the main dangers. The selection shaped as though he needed the run but still showed promise on his debut at Newmarket when a fair fourth behind Red Clubs. He is sure to come on for that effort and if he does he will be hard to keep out of the frame here. Charlton rates the main danger as he was an eye-catching fourth behind John Terry at Leicester on soft ground on his debut. He was doing all his best work at the finish and he is one to note in the market. Flor Y Nata looks a nice filly on breeding and anything Sir Mark Prescott sends to post in these type of events is certainly worth a second look in the market. Indian Wizard needs to step-up on what he has shown on his three runs to date but he is from a top yard and can't be ruled out. However, in a race where the market may provide all the clues we will make El Capitan our tentative selection.
