Verdict
Cheeney Basin has been below par on turf since rattling up a hat-trick on sand in May, but will appreciate the return to this surface and this grade. Danakim is better class than these, making all the running to win an apprentice handicap at Nottingham in May. But he is best on fast ground. Just the Trick landed his only to date here in February, while Tigress, Perigeux and Kass Alhawa are also course winners. Indian Music goes well at Southwell where he has won twice and he could go close if recapturing his best form.
